"Brief Chronicle Books 6-8" was inspired by conflicting feelings that emerged in response to the image of the perpetrator of the Boston Marathon Bombings. Characters negotiate an American space that is alternatively boundless and confining until all borders are blurred and the process begins all over again. A true-blue American Love Story, "Brief Chronicle Books 6-8" examines the boundary between projection and recognition. It asks whether or not we can truly love another or whether we are simply searching for different versions of ourselves.
