Raven

Raven

One man repeatedly recasts the specter of his lover as he struggles to ward of the present; despite his efforts he cannot remember what he had without also remembering what he lost. "The Raven" is a devised dance piece that asks us to consider the madness of grief and the boundaries of love across space and time. This feminist reinterpretation of the Edgar Alan Poe poem of the same name presents the act of masculine love as both an immersion and an objectification of the feminine identity.
